A Comprehensive Bibliometric Analysis of Fractional Programming (1965–2020)

Fractional programming (FP) refers to a family of optimization problems whose objective function is ratio two functions. FP has been studied extensively in economics, management science, information theory, optic and graph communication, computer etc. This paper presents bibliometric review the FP-related publications over past five decades order track research outputs scholarly trends field. The reviews are conducted through Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-EXPANDED) database Web Core Collection (Clarivate Analytics). Based on analysis 1811 documents, various theme-related indicators were described, such as most prominent authors, commonly cited papers, journals, institutions, countries. Three directions emerged, including Electrical Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Applied Mathematics.
